Prescott, Arizona (pronounced Preskitt by the locals) is a charming mile-high destination city founded in 1864. It is home to the World’s Oldest Rodeo and was visited by some of the roughest and toughest gunslingers and outlaws.
Prescott captures the romance of the wild west, yet it also offers a chic cosmopolitan vibe. From large to small businesses to the newly minted entrepreneur, Prescott Voice plans to showcase all that makes Prescott the place to visit and eventually call home.
We will bring you in-depth blog posts about food, fashion, entertainment, visual content, places to go, real estate, retirement, where to shop, who’s who, products, and whatever else we think you should know to help enrich your lives.
Oh, and did you know that Prescott is one of the most dog-friendly towns in America? Yup, we will be blogging like crazy about our canine friends. They are treated like royalty around here.

My name is Theresa Franks, and I am the founder of Prescott Voice. I am a published author, historian, Arizona licensed real estate agent, and serial business owner. I possess no fancy degrees or special certificates. My knowledge and expertise come from the trenches of the battle called life—the best darn education anyone can have.
I live with my rugged cowboy husband of 33 years on the most historic and iconic street in Prescott. The highlight of my day is spending quality time with my dogs, Opal and Gem.
I thoroughly enjoy photography, the visual arts, historic home restoration, and writing about Prescott’s rich and storied history. I love to cook, bake, antique shop, help others achieve their dreams, and write about subjects that move me (literally everything). I believe everyone is born with gifts to share with the world, and Prescott Voice is just the place to do it.
